Mission Statement
The 7th Mission Support Command (MSC) executes regional support and mission command of assigned and supported US Army Reserve (USAR) units in Europe; provides trained and ready unit capabilities in a sustainable readiness posture for the Global Force Pool; and on order deploys a scalable expeditionary headquarters in support of 21st Theater Support Command (TSC) and US Army Europe (USAREUR) missions.

7th MSC Vision
The 7th MSC is the only forward stationed Army Reserve command in Europe and is assigned to the active component force.   We are expeditionary and rapidly deployable, therefore, our Soldiers and Leaders must have and maintain tactical and technical competence. Professionalism, engagement, training, readiness, and accountability of our formation is the foundation ensuring the command is always mission ready.  We represent the Army and the Army Reserve as a disciplined, well trained, professional provider of capabilities to US Army Europe and the 21st Theater Sustainment Command.

Distinctive Unit Insignia

On an inverted yellow pentagon-shaped embroidered item issuing from base a stylized blue mill rind, the top ending in arrow points arched to the left and right, surmounted at center by a narrow red wedge, the sides arching inward superimposed at top by a red arrow point down, both with yellow outlines, all within a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) blue border. The dimension is 2 1/2 inches (6.35 cm) in height and width overall.

The colors are taken from the Seventh Army shoulder sleeve insignia. The mill rind refers to the 21st Theater Sustainment Command's shoulder sleeve insignia. The arrows suggest the ability to rapidly deploy in response to mission directives.

The shoulder sleeve insignia was originally approved for the 7th Civil Support Command on 23 September 2009. It was redesignated for the 7th Mission Support Command with the description updated effective 1 October 2015. (TIOH Dwg. No. A-1-1014)
Foreign Consequence Management
Foreign Consequence Management is the assistance provided by the U.S. Government to a requesting Host Nation, with the Department of State as the Lead Federal Agency, to mitigate the effects of a deliberate or inadvertent chemical, biological, radiological, or nuclear attack or event, and to restore essential operations and services.

Within European Command (USEUCOM) area of responsibility, U.S. Army Europe’s (USAREUR) 7th Mission Support Command, an Army Reserve unit based in Kaiserslautern, Germany, provides USAREUR interface for consequence management between Host Nation authorities, the U.S. Department of State, and other U.S. organizations/services.
Full Spectrum Operations
Full spectrum operations are the range of operations Army Forces conduct in war and military operations other than war. This includes: Shaping the security environment, responding promptly to crisis, mobilize the force, conducting forcible entry operations, dominating land operations, and providing support to civil authorities.

On order, the 7th Mission Support Command rapidly deploys a response and interface capability, which forms the core of Joint Task Force-Consequence Management Headquarters as part of the larger U.S. Government response to a foreign government assistance request.
